I just want to sincerely thank you and the whole Bailey Road School for all the help, assistance, care, and support you have given him, and for making the school feel like a second home for Kendric. I really appreciate everything you have done for him.

After all the classroom observations and interviews of staff and students I feel confident in saying- the teachers are highly committed to their profession, but more importantly in the work they do to raise achievement at Bailey Road.- the wellbeing of students and staff is a priority for the school.- the senior leadership team is well respected by all, and they have set up excellent communication systems so people feel a strong sense of cohesion.- the school has put excellent systems and finances into supporting students who have additional needs. The Learning Support staff are skilled and well matched to work with these targeted students.- the school is functioning well and the classrooms have a lovely working tone.

I have absolutely loved the environment at Bailey Road School, from the kaiako to students.

Bailey Road School is a fantastic kura to work alongside. We’ve had the privilege of delivering Tupu Māia, Tama Toa and Have a Go Day with their students, and every time we’ve been welcomed with such warmth and support from the staff and wider school community. It’s clear that the school genuinely cares about creating positive experiences and opportunities for their tamariki, encouraging them to build confidence, try new things and be proud of who they are.

We’ve absolutely loved being part of their journey and look forward to continuing to work alongside Bailey Road School in the future.

ERO Reports

The Education Review Office visited us in 2016 and at the end of 2020.  The BRS Board is extremely proud of the report and its findings.  The report is overwhelmingly positive towards the school, its children, and the teachers.  We appreciated the feedback from ERO and are committed to continual improvement at Bailey Road School.
